Overall, without having been able to use and abuse this thing a lot yet, it's a good buy, it is what you see.I had threads all over in mine, some loose, some not, it was as though the sower forgot to clip the thread tag ends.Outside of that, which is quick to take care of, everything is right on. The hood is a tight fit style of hood, so it is small so that it fits tightly to your head to move with you and give you good visibility. Also means weather can get to your face a bit easier. This can be remedied through other means, including a hat.The coat buttons up well, and I'm not talking about the snaps, but they work well too. But it covers everything really well to keep weather out of it, from the cape to the way the neck reaches up and encloses to keep weather out and running down the coat instead of down and into your body.I own the nylon version as well and I wish this had the same style outside hand pockets that that version had. That coat is worth the buy too.I don't know what else to say, I like these, they are what they appear to be as you can see in the pictures, fit is what I'd expect. I'd like the hood to be about three times the size but that's a personal preference, so I won't knock anything off for that.Coat looks great and at a good price. I also couldn’t find the hood so contacted support and got quick response to look in front pocket. There it was. The cost is well treated for wet weather but is light weight suitable for spring and fall weather without extra layers.The shipping was lightning fast and arrive much sooner than anticipated which is always appreciated. The only reason I didnt give five stars, was that the jacket sleeves and length was a bit smaller than the usual XL size in European sizes. The good also looked more oversized in the photo. But actually fits very tight and doesnt leave any room for movement. I'm a craftsman and am going to make alterations so it does better. All in all, an Excellent product for the price. Can't beat it. The olive green is just as pictured. A deep dark green. Very pleased!I wanted to say thank you to the company. Not sure what the negative reviews are about. No issues here.Jacket is of exceptional quality, heavy material. Protects from wind and keeps you dry. Only observation- zipper is backwards from what I am used to.Can not over state the QUALITY!!!Fit great looks goodthe body of the coat has a generous fit, but the arms are almost too thin for a mans arms. so cant say its too small or too large... its borderline both at once which isnt "fits as expected" either.the lining is decent and comfortable, except for the easy-rip polyester tat they hid in the sleeves. the seams of which have already ripped after only being worn twice. typically.the wind resistance is great, especially with the leg straps to keep the coat wrapped around you, but the water resistance is only good for moderate rain. downpours go through it.if you want to save £50 compared to other coats of a similar nature, and accept having to re-wax it when you get it and take a needle and thread to the sleeves, go ahead. but i dont and wont recommend it.they went to far as to put more tartan in the cuffs to hide the polytat, meaning they have to do two lots of stitching on the sleeves.add more labour to reduce the quality? why was such a backwards decision made?im tempted to send it back for a refund before i try to fix or re-wax it myself."100% cotton". the lining wouldnt have ripped if it was.Great coat thank youIch habe mir den Mantel in Schwarz kommen lassen in der Größe M. Ich habe vorher bei der Größentabelle extra nochmal meine Maße genommen und sie verglichen. Also Größe M. Aber leider ist der Mantel eher für Leute mit der Größe L bis max. XL gedacht. Noch dazu fühlt sich das Material nicht sehr angenehm an. Man hat Rückstände an den Händen vom Wachs. (Weiß leider nicht ob das am Anfang normal ist). Da ich aber keine Lust habe mich mit dem Rückverdand auseinander zu setzen, versuche ich ihn an jemand passenden weiterzugeben. Schade drum. Ich persönlich würde vorsichtshalber zwei Größen bestellen und sehen welcher am besten passt. Schnitt perfekt - es passt noch bequem eine Jacke darunter - Sattel wird hinten komplett abgedeckt. Die Beinschlaufen halten den Mantel in Position. Petrus hat mir dann auch gleich den Gefallen getan, seine Schleusen zu öffnen. Perfektes Ergebnis, bin warm und trocken im Stall angekommen.
