Compared to boiled wool items and many woolen sweaters, this soft, beautifully made baby alpaca cardigan is lighter weight and extremely comfortable. In size extra large, it compares to other extra large items I have ordered.The fit is exactly as shown on the model with shoulder seams barely off the outer edges of the shoulders, and the bottom flaring ever so slightly, exactly as shown.However, while this size fits perfectly over short sleeved tops, a larger size would help if it were to be worn over long sleeves, or if arms were not slender. The arms fit with comfortable snugness. This is my second order because I wanted a spare. The coloring and overall design are especially flattering and versatile for a pattern. I am very pleased with this item.
