While this dress fit great in the arms, across the shoulders and chest area, and in the waist, it was too long for me. I'm 5'4" and would need to have 5" to 6" removed, which would affect the beading. :(Too long, no way to get it hemmed.The dress is well made. The beading is so delicate. The fit is comfortable not too tight but falls beautifully.I loved this dress. The design, fit, color, everything was great! Then it wasn’t! On the way to my son’s wedding, with no time to spare, all the beads started coming off in the front at a shockingly fast speed in 6 places before I even had a chance to buckle my seatbelt! Thank God I just happen to have a sewing kit with me and I had my daughter in law and sister help me sew all 6 places but we had no time to replace what beads were already missing! We just had time to stop the avalanche of beads from unraveling completely! I asked for a refund, no reply. Very stressful!Absolutely gorgeous dress that I received many compliments on. I’ll be wearing this to all the weddings I have to attend this year. I will also be wearing a shaper undergarment because I felt like it clung to my legs. I generally wear a size 10/12 but ordered a size 14 and it fit perfectly on my 36DD bustline. It will likely be too long on you if you are under 5’5” but for me it was definitely worth the effort to get it hemmed because it’s so appropriate for many occasions.This is a beautifully made dress. I ordered a size six and this dress is still a tad bit too large.This dress requires me to wear one if slip bodice I see advertised where it smooth out your body. Mind you, my stomach is pretty flat - no, not a six pack - but no love handle or any baby fat hanging over either. But despite the fact that it’s lose, the weight of the dress clings to every curve of my body and I don’t mean flattering way.It was too clingy for me. I think this dress would look good on someone that’s taller and slimmer than me.I am 5'5" and 115 lb. My shoulders are a little broader than average, and my hips a little smaller. I ordered both a 4 and a 6. The skirt is heavy enough that both sizes draped just fine over my hips. The size 4 was a little smaller in the bodice but ok. However, it was a little too short-waisted for me. So I kept the 6. The dress is long, as all formal wear is, but exceptionally easy to hem. I'm happy. It's for a family wedding, COVID permitting.A tad too big, but very comfortable, modest, and ... mostly flattering. Not overly heavy, so easy to move in. My two cons: 1) Short sleeves tend to cut across the widest part of a woman's arm, and so are unflattering no matter the occasion or garment; I try to avoid that. 2) The color is too close to my skin color; I need more contrast or else I risk looking washed out.I'm sending the dress back, but for many women this might just be the one.This gown will be perfect for my son's wedding. The beading is beautiful but because of the matching colours of the beads to the fabric, is more subtle than other beaded dresses, which works well. Beautifully made and a great fit. I am 5'6" and 130 lbs. The 8 fit well but needed about a 2-3" hem even considering I would be wearing heels. The manufacturer left enough room below the beads to allow for hemming. This would also work well on someone quite a bit taller and wouldn't need to be hemmed. Looking forward to wearing this on the big day.Searched High and low for a wedding dress post-covid and ended u returning 3 I was so disappointed and was running out of time. THIS DRESS IS STUNNING, fits well, length on point, ready to accessorize, well priced,. I was so nervous ordering a dress thru Amazon but who knew I would hit the jackpot!This is my Mother of the Bride dress! It's very comfortable and just the right amount of glitz for a wedding.Only concern is it's not washable or dry cleanable, so I guess one day only wear.Ezactamente lo q esperaba
